Part 18 Restoration of a 1974 Jeep CJ5 - The Seats

Here is what the seats looked like when I got it. They were in terrible shape. The frames were rusted. The seats would not fold or move.

Here are the new seats. It was important that the passenger seat allowed room for opening the tool box.

This seat will allow access to the toolbox without folding forward.

But folding forward gives a little extra room, especially if you need to climb in the back, although I do not have a plan for a back seat, it doesn't mean there would never be a reason to climb in the back.
