Hickory Stick with a String (Primitive Bow)
A very quick and dirty bow from a Hickory sapling. I left the bark on most of it. The tillering is a little off, but it was just a quick project to try it out. I’m surprised how well it works. It is about 28# at 28″
Update:
After several months I gave this away. I was then asked to put a new handle on it, which I did. The surprise however, was now it’s draw weight was just over 40#. A note of how moisture content effects efficiency.
